The AVE´s 102 and 112 are kown with the nickname the "DUCK" (PATO)
Tee project was developed by TALGO,S.A., BOMBARDIER buit the locomotives and TALGO built the coaches.
The 200m. train is formed by 2 Locomotives, and 12 Coaches: 5 Tourist, 1 Tourist handycap, 2 Club, 1Cafeteria and 3 Preferentes.
Total capacity : 316 passengers.
On 24th February 2001, it reached the speed of 359 Km/h, the new Spanish train Record, RENFE requested a top speed of 350 Km/h.
TALGO received the first order of 16 units, and on 26th February 2005 started the first trip between Madrid and Lerida, with the new pattern of a blue strip on their sides,our Ref. 60300.
Time later all the trains received the pattern RENFE OPERADORA with the purple and silver strips. who are the actual colours,
The last version AVE 112 started production on 2008, and the full serie was of 30 units manufactured.Our Ref. 60303
The total unit is formed by 12 coaches: 7 Tourist,1 Tourist handicap, 3 Bussines and 1 Cafeteria.. Total 365 Passengers.
Starting to run on 2010
On 18/12/2010 the AVE 112 arrived to Valencia from Madrid , and in this ocasion the first unit reveiced a special decoration, on the locomotives sides,named CABALLO GANADOR, Our Ref 60302. (limited Serie)
Train Characteristics: 200m. long, Power 8000 KW. Tension 25 KW. 50Hz. Max speed 350 KM/h.
