Perhaps the largest replica of a city landscape on 180m² at Arnulf-Klett-Platz 1-3 in Stuttgart (directly opposite the main train station) - open - regardless of public holidays - Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on weekends from 10:00 a.m -17:00 o'clock.
Wolfgang Frey's model railway layout is nothing short of legendary. Sensational images appeared in specialist magazines and on television. The exact whereabouts were secret for decades. Sleeping in an S-Bahn station, it was previously completely inaccessible to visitors. That changed in 2017.
Over a period of 30 years, Wolfgang Frey created an original, true-to-scale depiction of Stuttgart with a terminal station, striking buildings and tracks. The result is a facility that is convincing from an artistic and model-making perspective, and shows Stuttgart as it was back then.
