Vossloh EURO 4000 Takargo 6004 Ep. VI

The Vossloh EURO 4000 is a diesel electric locomotive, produced by the company Vossloh at the Albuixech factory near Valencia, Spain. By the end of 2011, around 50 of the locomotives were delivered to eight different countries. In addition to Spain and Portugal, the Euro 4000 is also used in freight transport in the countries of France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Norway. The locomotive is powered by a V16 two-stroke diesel engine of the type EMD 16-710 G3C-U2. With a tank capacity of 7,000 liters, distances of up to 2,000 kilometers can be covered without an intermediate stop. The use of multiple traction is possible.
