New for 2022: Print variant of the Schürzeneilzugwagen in the livery of a 1st/2nd Class cars of the DR in Era III. PIKO took on a challenge when designing the new type 42 fast train coaches and passed it brilliantly. The elegant vehicles are excellently reproduced in the N scale and close a large gap in the 1:160 scale vehicle fleet. The housing impresses with sharp and precise engravings, which develop a pleasant three-dimensional effect, especially on the bogies and in the door area, and thus decisively shape the harmonious appearance. The surface finish of the wagons consists of a very fine paint finish, which has been printed with absolutely sharp contours. Optional LED interior lighting on the wagons, which can be retrofitted in just a few simple steps, creates an additional atmosphere when the wagons are used in the system.
