The intricately engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, freestanding handles, and delicate pantographs are testaments to modern toolmaking and outstanding manufacturing techniques. The powerful mid-mounted motor, with its two finely balanced flywheels, ensures excellent driving characteristics and high traction performance, which is further enhanced by two traction tires arranged diagonally on the center axles. The model comes factory-equipped with maintenance-free LED lighting with direction-dependent light changes, as well as a modern Next18 interface for the easy installation of a digital decoder, enabling even more prototypical operation on the model railway layout.
