DCC + Sound Electric locomotive BR 482 SBB Ep.VI

Novelty 2023: With the completely new design of the BR 185 / BR 482, PIKO is fulfilling the wish of many model railway enthusiasts for a contemporary model of this modern locomotive series. The striking proportions of the prototype were perfectly transferred to scale into the model. The detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and delicate current collectors are evidence of modern tool making and manufacturing techniques. The powerful mid-engine with its two finely balanced flywheels ensures excellent driving characteristics and traction performance, which is further supported by two diagonally arranged traction tires. Ex works, the model has maintenance-free LED lighting with light changes depending on the direction of travel, as well as a matching PIKO sound decoder, which enables even more prototypical operation on the model railway system.
