Elektrolok E18 DB Ep.III

The PIKO model of the DB E18 is the first, consistently faithful prototype large-scale model of this series in the scale 1: 160. Worth mentioning are the prototypical roof equipment, the typical pantographs for the DB locomotives as well as the finest finishes. All roof pipes were made of metal. The fine wheelsets with feather-spring replica are an absolute novelty on a scale of 1: 160. The lamps appear in prototypical shape and size. The powerful engine with two large flywheel masses ensures problem-free transport of heavy express trains by driving four axles in the model as well. In addition, two wheels in diagonal arrangement were provided with traction tires. The locomotive has a PluX interface.
