Beschreibung
Prototype: Union Pacific Railroad (UP) class 4000 "Big Boy" heavy freight locomotive. The locomotive has the road number 4013. It looked as it did around 1950.
Unique series
Model: With digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-performance drive. 8 axles powered. Traction tires, smoke generator. Headlights that change with the direction of travel and smoke generator in conventional operation, can be controlled digitally. Driver's cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Articulated chassis for cornering. Boxpok wheels. Minimum radius R2a (261.8 mm). Length over couplings approximately 25.3 cm.
Notes on operation: The locomotive can be used on curved tracks with a radius of 261.8 mm or more, but we recommend larger radii. Due to the overhang of the long boiler, signals, overhead line masts, bridge railings, tunnel portals, etc. must be kept at a sufficient distance from the curved track. The track must be firmly secured to support the heavy weight of the locomotive. The turntable and transfer table can only be used in the through position.
