Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) internal combustion powered rail car (VT) 796 702-9 with control car (VS) 996 778-7. Two-engine design, built starting in 1955. Used in local transport (secondary lines). Condition around 1996.

Model: The chassis is made of die-cast metal. Motor with flywheel in railcar, drive on both axles. Built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC. The headlights, marker lights and interior lighting with maintenance-free LEDs will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. With rear-view mirrors for one-man operation. Separable special coupling between the vehicles. Motor vehicle can also be used alone. Coupling replicas without function at the ends for retrofitting are included. Total length over buffers 175 mm.
