Prototype: Class 232 heavy diesel locomotive of the German Federal Railway (DB AG), Co'Co' wheel arrangement, built from 1974 onwards in the USSR for the German State Railway (Deutsche Reichsbahn), nicknamed "Ludmilla". Purple-red livery. Locomotive road number: 232 357-4. Operating condition mid-1990s. Use: Heavy passenger and freight trains.
