Model of a reception / administration building in a mixture of Wilhelminian architecture and Art Deco. The model is part of our building series on the subject of Maschinenfabrik Johann, which can be combined with each other.
The building is constructed at an angle of 7 ° oblique to the straight background. The left side of the building is lower than the right side and the building is slightly diagonal to the plant background. The angular construction creates a realistic look on the layout or diorama. The common problem of too many parallels (edge ??of the system, tracks and buildings) is thereby avoided. A straight version is available under the number N-i00032.
The 3-storey building has printed realistic stained-glass windows replicas to enhance the effect of the building on the viewer. Reception and administration buildings of the factories were often very lavishly equipped so that the wealth of the companies was conveyed to the visitors. In our building, this is evident not only in the stained glass windows, but also in the plastered gables, the superb brick columns and the very detailed wrought-iron door. The Art Deco sconces (MU_N-A00300) can be attached to the pediment next to the ornate front door, but are not part of the kit.
The kits are made using the latest laser technology in a prototypical manner. Production takes place entirely in Germany at Modellbahn Union / DM-Toys in Issum. All components are cut from cardboard or wood with high precision in different thicknesses and enable quick assembly. The surfaces of the buildings are laser engraved. With this method, the surface is absolutely realistic in terms of both color and scale. The wall elements are partially serrated lasered and can simply be inserted into each other and glued. Attractive packaging and detailed building instructions complete the new product series.
