The water house with coal magazine is based on a building that was often seen on secondary and narrow-gauge railways in Era I. In the building there was a container for water on the upper floor and a storage room for coal on the ground floor. The relatively small amounts of water and coal were sufficient for the often small tank locomotives that drove on these routes.
Our model has a black 3d printed movable water crane on the gable which can be operated by the included servo. The servo can be connected to any commercially available controller. We recommend the ESU SwitchPilot Servo 3, item no. ESU_51832.
There is a video on YouTube about the function of the water crane!
The kits are made true to the original using the latest laser technology. The production takes place completely in Germany with Modellbahn Union / DM-Toys in Issum. All components are cut from cardboard or wood with high precision in different thicknesses and allow a quick setup. The surfaces of the buildings are laser-engraved. By this method, the surface is absolutely realistic both in color and in scale. The wall elements are partly toothed lasered and can easily be plugged together and glued. Attractive packaging and detailed construction instructions complete the new product line.
