Description
The well-known, unpainted kit, now for you as a finished product.

A load that you don't see every day is engine housing for marine diesel. These come from Finland and continue to Italy, i.e. almost across Europe. From Germany they are then loaded onto Samms 489 or Samms 710 railway wagons (models from Roco/Fleischmann). Due to the load weight (depending on the size of the engine block between 80-90 tons), these wagons run as heavy wagons with a special route.

They usually travel from Munich via Rosenheim, Traunstein, Freilassing to Salzburg, where they are handed over to ÖBB, where they are transported on to Italy via Villach.

In the pictures, however, the freight train had to be diverted via the Munich - Mühldorf - Freilassing route towed by a Mühldorfer diesel locomotive due to construction work. The scheduled train locomotive (Taurus of the ÖBB) was dragged along, so that the locomotive circulation was correct again.
