Our prototype with the train destination display "Soltau" is the first VT 628 delivered to Braunschweig. It ran, among other things, on the single-track railway line Hanover - Soltau, part of the so-called Heidebahn (current DB timetable route 123). The approximately 88 km long route leads through the northern heath.
