Four turnouts or signals etc. can be connected to the switch decoder LS100. If all components are switched at the same time, the total current must not be more than 1.7 amps. DC voltage is present at the outputs. This must be taken into account when using light-emitting diodes.

The connection with the control center required for the feedback of the turnout position is established via the terminals R and S of the LS100, the turnout or signal position is then displayed, for example, in the handheld controller or passed on as information to a control program.
