The long-distance bus operator Flixbus brings two more long-distance trains on the rails and thus doubles its offer. From June 21, 2018, the Flixtrain will then connect Stuttgart and Berlin up to twice a day. The second train will arrive on the Cologne-Hamburg route on July 19, 2018. The green trains are currently the only competition for long-distance rail transport for the state-owned company, which counted 143 million passengers on its long-distance trains last year.
