Fire Department MB LF 16 Ts Mercedes-Benz Volunteer Fire Department

The Löschgruppenfahrzeug 16 (short: LF 16) was a widely used standard fire engine of the German fire departments and was inherited by the LF 16/12. Its load was primarily focused on firefighting and included, inter alia, a four-part ladder, a three-part sliding ladder and a folding ladder. Also a winch with a pulling force of up to 50 kN could be delivered. The vehicle could be made with road or four-wheel drive and each had a maximum permissible mass of 12 t.
