Passenger car set couchette Bvcmz Snälltaget ÖBB Ep.VI 2-piece

In 2020, Snälltaget acquired ten Bvcmz 248.5 couchette cars from Germany and gave them a modern look. These cars, formerly used on CityNightLine and DB Nachtzug, are now in service on the Stockholm-Berlin route. Initially, the train from Stockholm to Trelleborg was hauled by a Snälltaget Vectron, followed by a ferry crossing to Sassnitz. On the German side, the train was taken over by various private railways, such as WFL. Since this year, Snälltaget Class 193 electric locomotives have been operating the night train from Stockholm to Berlin. In addition, a night train from Stockholm to Salzburg has been running since 2022, allowing the cars to travel to more southern regions.
