The model: A two-system locomotive was needed for cross-border traffic between Berlin / Dresden and Prague. The development and construction took place at Skoda. The prototype of the "dumpling press" was commissioned as a BR230 in 1988 by the DR. Only in early 1991, the series delivery of 20 locomotives to the DR and 15 locomotives to the CSD. The locomotives of the CD carry the serial number 372. The main application area of ??this two-system locomotive is the train service. After a short period of service received the locomotives of the DR in early 1992, the designation BR180. The "dumpling press" can be found in front of trains and freight trains. The universally applicable locomotive with its unmistakable exterior is delivered by us first in the execution as series 180 of the DR and as series 372 of the CD.
