Beschreibung

Delivered in 1937/38, these vehicles met the high demand for branch line railcars at the time and were therefore widely used.

The model is equipped with:
- Interior lighting
- LED headlights and taillights that change over with the direction of travel, red/white
- Analog version with 6-pin interface NEM 651

The model is completely made in Germany, the quality level is excellent, 100% final inspection.

Standard branch line railcar type CPwVT-34 – VT 135:

The railcar was built in 1937 by Linke-Hoffmann-Busch (Bautzen plant) and was put into service as road number VT 135 075 at RBD Regensburg. A total of 64 railcars were built in 1937/38. The Second World War brought the inventory into disarray: 30 railcars remained with the later DB, 10 railcars with the DR, 16 railcars with the CSD (series M 140.3) and at least one with the PKP (as 900 008), which was previously in Oppeln was stationed. 7 railcars are to be regarded as war losses.
After 1949, the DB renumbered its remaining railcars: The VT 135 was given the new series designation VT 70.9 and the prototype of the KRES car was given the number VT 70 923. In 1951 the car was stationed at the Ingolstadt depot. Due to the new deliveries of the VT 98 and VT 95 from 1953, the DB was soon able to dispense with the pre-war cars. Therefore, the prototype of the KRES model was already retired on December 27, 1960.
The railcar is a beautiful Era IIIb model as it has been in operation for the past four years.

scope of delivery
The model is complete with all add-on parts. For a coupling with other vehicles, there is the option of installing the standard coupling shafts included in the packaging. To do this, either the air tank, which is only attached, or the brake hose carrier must be removed and replaced with the standard shaft, see exploded view overleaf. To remove the housing, for example to insert figures, you only have to pull out the plugged-in buffers on both sides.

Jürgen Plack subjected the VT135 to a detailed test with many more pictures. Read this on our blog .
