Since the collaboration between ABB and Stadler Rail began in 2002, Stadler Rail has ordered traction equipment from ABB for more than 1,500 regional trains and over 300 light rail vehicles. ABB Ltd (abbreviation for Asea Brown Boveri) is a leader in energy and automation technology with headquarters in Zurich. The Allegra multiple units are adorned with ABB advertising with different prints at irregular intervals. The railcars of the Allegra #3510 show urban high-rises, the middle car shows the Swiss mountain landscape.
