KATO offers an excellent track N-track system with a gray speckled trackbed body (fine grain) that is accurate to scale, extremely stable and ideal for all N-gauge models. The ballast body is made of elastic plastic and is about 25mm wide. The tracks can easily be connected with each other via plug-in connections and snap in with an audible "click". The metal rail shoes are supported by additional plastic connectors on the bottom. This protects the rail shoe while ensuring a perfect, exact and reliable connection. The bridges are characterized by an excellent price performance ratio. Due to their fine detailing, they are visually an eye-catcher on every model railway layout. The bridges are both 1-track and 2-track in different colors. Due to the construction and the bridge of the bridge special UniJoiner (siding shoes) are needed for the attachment of further KATO tracks. The bridge is already equipped with these special UniJoiners. Included in the delivery are two more special UniJoiner, which must be exchanged for the standard UniJoiner of KATO rails.
