KATO offers an outstanding track N-track system with a gray speckled trackbed body (fine grain) that is accurate to scale, extremely stable and ideal for all N-gauge models. The ballast body is made of elastic plastic and is about 25mm wide. The tracks can easily be connected to each other via plug-in connections and snap in with an audible "click". The metal rail shoes are supported by additional plastic connectors on the bottom. This protects the rail shoe while ensuring a perfect, accurate and reliable connection.
