KATO offers an excellent N gauge track system with a grey-speckled trackbed (fine grain) that is precisely scaled, extremely stable, and ideally suited for all N gauge models. The trackbed is made of flexible plastic and is approximately 25mm wide. The track sections connect effortlessly via plug-in connectors and lock into place with an audible "click." The metal rail shoes are reinforced by additional plastic connectors on the underside. This protects the rail shoe and ensures a perfect, precise, and reliable connection.
