Description
With this three-car passenger train (the locomotive is modeled after a Bavarian D6, the carriages based on Austrian Spantenwagen), Kato launched its successful "Pocket Line" series many years ago. The small, two-axle locomotive is relatively compact, as the drive mechanism is housed in the chassis of the first passenger car. Its tractive effort is sufficient to pull three additional carriages. Power is provided by a high-quality, five-pole Kato motor. This model makes it easy to experience the charm of the good old days of steam locomotives. Prototypes of this train can still be found on many Swiss, Austrian, Dutch, French, and German museum railways and railway societies.
