Description
The E127-100 of the E217 Oito line series made its debut in 1998 for the Nagano area Oito and Shinonoi lines. It is a general purpose DC electric train with a stainless steel body and equipped with 3 doors on each side of the respective carriages. For use in cold areas, the vehicle has an additional pantograph to eliminate frost on the power cable. The interior of the car is specialized for sightseeing.
