Electric train Shinkansen Series 500 Nozomi 8-piece

The 500 Shinkansen, which has a top speed of 300 km/h in commercial operation and continues to be popular due to its iconic shape, is now being launched with updated specifications and vehicle number. The 500 series has excellent aerodynamics and is characterized by its sharp and dynamic shape. Commercial operations at 300 km/h began in 1997 and by March 2010 the train traversed the route between Tokyo and Hakata in 4 hours.
