Electric multiple unit Chizu Express Hot 7000 Super Hakuto 6-part

The HOT7000 "Super Hakuto" of Chizu Express, the shuttle train connecting the Kansai region and the San'in region, is released as a scale model by KATO. The HOT7000 "Super Hakuto" is the third sector of the Chizu Express, which began operations in December 1994. Based on the JR Shikoku Series 2000, it is a stainless steel bodied, piloted, natural pendulum diesel locomotive. With a maximum speed of 130 km/h, it connects Kyoto with Tottori and Kurayoshi in about 3 hours and 30 minutes, greatly improving the convenience of the former route between the Kinki and Tottori region. The name "HOT" is made up of the initials of Hyogo, Okayama and Tottori, as well as hot springs and the "warmth" of the people of the San'in region. It also received the Good Design Award in 2008. Reflecting like a mirror, the side windows are realistically recreated with semi-mirrored mirror glass. KATO will be releasing a 6-piece set with additional cars that can be seen with many passengers.

Features:
- After the interior renewal, the prototype is the current form with LED headlights (the headlights and taillights turn on) and full-color LED side indicators.
- The distinctive half-mirror reflection of the side windows, reflecting like a mirror, is reproduced exactly like the actual train.
- Equipped with KATO's original pendulum mechanism, which reproduces the inward tilt of the train body when cornering exactly like the real train.
- The snow plow on the front bogie is reproduced.
- Body couplings without hooks are used for the intermediate connection.
- The flywheel ensures stable operation.
