In addition to the Taurus, the BR 189 was and is one of the most successful locomotives at Siemens. Specially developed as a multi-system locomotive for international freight traffic, the locomotive is still in use throughout Europe. We have heavily overhauled the model as well as our Taurus and Vectron for 2017. New for the 2017 variants are the Next 18 SST (NEM 662) and the new frame with room for a loudspeaker. The new models will also be available as a sound version. In our new series - EDITION: KUNSTDRUCK, we will also be able to realize the sometimes extremely complex special finishes of the prototypes in a model. The models of this edition are printed with the latest digital printing techniques and are in no way inferior to the models in the details. All models of this series are limited and unique editions.
