In Switzerland, the double-decker express train carriages of the SBB, which were procured from 1997, are referred to as IC2000. These passenger cars, which are approved for 200 kilometers per hour, were originally purchased in five car types (Bt, B, BR, A, AD), but some of these can be slightly different. In addition, various changes have been made since delivery, so that later there are seven and today there are six different types. They differ from the other European double-deck coaches primarily in the transition on the upper deck.
