Hobbytrain set of 3 silo wagons Uacs SBB / Holcim, Ep.VI
Four-axle silo wagon with pneumatic emptying. Especially suitable for powdery bulk goods such as cement, gypsum, lime, dolomite etc. Some of these wagons are used exclusively for the transport of food, for example flour. 375 of these wagons have been in use both at SBB Cargo and the large cement manufacturers Holcim, Jura Cement and Ciments Vigier since 1972. The BLS also procured 4 cars of this type.
