From mid-2002, SBB Cargo put a series of grain silo wagons called Tagnpps 31 into operation. Originally, the wagons were only intended for the transport of sugar, and some wagons have been labeled with these since 2004. Since these wagons have also proven themselves in international traffic, they are now increasingly being used for the transport of cocoa from Amsterdam to Switzerland. The raw material for one of the most important Swiss products is mainly delivered by rail. The eye-catching stainless steel wagons usually run as block trains and then offer an impressive appearance.
