Wagon set with three pressure gas tank wagons “EVA/DSM Holland”, type Zags, employed by the Deutsche Bundesbahn.

Pressure gas tank wagons are special wagons for liquefied, deep-frozen liquefied or dissolved gases. Loading and unloading takes place via devices that can be operated from the ground (bottom emptying). The striking, approximately 30 cm high, orange longitudinal stripe in the middle of the tank is typical of European wagons.
For a long time, these wagons were used exclusively as private wagons [P], which were employed by the national railway administrations. In contrast to other types of wagons, they are now owned by specialised wagon rental companies. The complex management includes the maintenance, inspection, etc. of the wagon fleet.
