Prototype: The Royal Bavarian State Railways (K.Bay.Sts.B.) was founded 175 years ago. They developed to the end of the First World War with a route network of 8,526 kilometers (including the acquired on 1 January 1909 Palatine Railways) to the second largest German country railway after the Prussian State Railways. After the end of the monarchy on November 8, 1918 accounted for in the name of the predicate Royal.
