So-called rail transport wagons with a loading length of 13 m were already procured from the Prussian State Railways – initially for transporting the then 12 m long rails. Likewise, a rail transport car was also constructed as an "association design" by the individual state railways and procured in several thousand copies between 1911 and 1926.
