Already at the time of the country railways (initially for the transport of the then 12 m long rails) so-called rail transport cars with 13 m loading length were procured. The cars were originally equipped with 12 side stanchions, low end walls and charging thresholds. Beginning of the 1970s, the last cars were retired or used as a train service car.
Prototype: The Royal Bavarian State Railways (K.Bay.Sts.B.) was founded 175 years ago. They developed to the end of the First World War with a route network of 8,526 kilometers (including the acquired on 1 January 1909 Palatine Railways) to the second largest German country railway after the Prussian State Railways. After the end of the monarchy on November 8, 1918 accounted for in the name of the predicate Royal. Fleischmann lets the model railroaders participate in this anniversary and will bring special series in 2019 with interesting, colorful vehicles from the large Bavarian state railway era.
