Electric locomotive class 254 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR East), epoch IV,

Model with built-in, load-controlled digital decoder, factory-fitted with prototypical sound.

Engine with flywheel. Drive on four axles, two traction tires. Coupling pocket according to NEM 355 with KK kinematics. Two-LED top lighting, changing with the direction of travel.

Prototype: The "iron pig" were called disrespectful at the DR after the war remaining E-locomotives of class E 94. For a long time these robust locomotives were the backbone of freight train traffic in the DR. The noticeable difference to the DB version was the red painted bogies. The locomotives were still in use until 1990.
