The TRAXX3 from Bombardier differ significantly from its predecessors not only because of the newly designed locomotive body. For the first time, the side surfaces of an electric locomotive were equipped with a device for clamping tarpaulins on which advertising can be attached. In 2014, the first 20 locomotives of the 147 series (type P160 AC3), specially adapted to the requirements of local transport, were delivered to DB Regio. With an output of 5,600 kW and a top speed of 160 km/h, they have also been in use in Berlin and Brandenburg since 2018.
