Beschreibung
Electric locomotive, class 103.1, of the German Federal Railroad (DB), epoch IV.

Triple LED headlights and red tail lights that change with the direction of travel. Link mechanism on both sides. Coupling pocket according to NEM 355 standards.

The model is an ideal locomotive for the replica of the EuroCity train EC 22/23 "Johann Strauss" from Wien Westbahnhof to Cologne (and back). The German class 103 electric locomotive also stayed in front of the wagon set on the Austrian Westbahn in the early 1990s.

The company number 103 242-4 chosen by Fleischmann was sold to Henschel & Sohn, Kassel in 1974 with factory no. 31,788 built. The locomotive belongs to the 2nd series with a longer driver's cab and was put into service on March 14, 1974. The first depot was Hamburg-Eidelstedt and the locomotive was always stationed in Hamburg until it was decommissioned on March 20th, 2000.

Owner:
1974-1993: DB
1993-1997: DB AG, traction division
1997-2000: DB AG, Travel & Tourism division

The model shows the state in the late 1980s, but the locomotive retained its TEE color scheme until it was decommissioned.
