Important guidelines for using a DCC decoder:
To improve the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in analog mode, the motor is equipped with a ground contact plate between stator housing and carbon tube .When retrofitting a DCC decoder, however, this contact must be necessarily interrupted! In case of nonobservance of this instruction, the locomotive is inoperable and the DCC decoder can be damaged or destroyed!
