From 1988 to 1998, 234 class BB 26000 dual system electric locomotives were delivered to the French State Railways. The machines, known under the artificial name "Sybic", are used throughout France in front of all types of trains. These multi-purpose locomotives reach a top speed of 200 km/h and are able to generate an output of 5,600 kW.
