Diesel locomotive class 120 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (East), epoch IV.

Version with wide chrome strip under the front windows.

Model with built-in, load-controlled digital decoder and factory-ready sound.

Engine with flywheel. Drive on 8 wheels, 2 of them with traction tires. Interface to NEM 651 for recording a decoder. Three-light top lighting alternating with the direction of travel on both sides. On both sides close-coupling slot and NEM 355 coupler pocket.

Prototype: The V 200, later the BR 120, with its 1,470 kW (2,000 hp), is ideally suited for the freight train service. This type was the proven type M 62, which has been supplied for years in Luhansk (Ukraine) for Soviet and foreign railways. From 1966 to 1975, the German Reichsbahn of the GDR received a total of 378 locomotives of this series.
