Raaberbahn AG / GySEV (formerly Raab-Ödenburg-Ebenfurter Eisenbahn AG, Hungarian Györ-Sopron-Ebenfurti Vasút), an Austrian-Hungarian joint venture, also received six standard-gauge locomotives in 1972, which were classified as the M62.9 sub-series. The M62.9 were based in Sopron and were retired in 1996.
