Steam locomotive series 232 TC of the French State Railways.

The French National Railway (SNCF) acquired 27 examples of the T 18 class locomotives from the Imperial Railways in Alsace-Lorraine. These locomotives had been built by the Vulcan Works between 1915 and 1918. They were based in Strasbourg, Haguenau, Sélestat, Colmar, and Mulhouse. Due to their respectable top speed of 100 km/h, large water reservoir, and much-praised smooth running, they were primarily used for fast suburban service. The last locomotive, number 232 TC, was retired from regular SNCF service in 1966.
