Steam locomotive series 56.20 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft.
- Die-cast metal chassis
The prototype was delivered from 1919. It had an output of 1,023 kW (1,390 hp), weighed 120.4 tons and reached a top speed of 65 km/h. A total of 850 units were built. They usually hauled freight trains. The last unit in the DB's service, the 56 2637, was taken out of service in 1963 and decommissioned in 1965.
