Drive in the tender, two axles driven, two traction tires. Motor with a flywheel. Digital interface according to NEM 651 standards. Dual LED headlights that change with the direction of travel. Coupler pocket according to NEM 355.

The locomotives of the class 52 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn are the best known of the so-called war locomotives. They were built in more than 7,000 units from 1942, and 15,000 machines were planned. After the war, 300 more were made from existing parts. Even after 1945, the locomotives in many parts of Europe were still indispensable for the reconstruction.
At the ÖBB there were different versions of the 52 series. The model of the Fleischmann locomotive has a striking cabin tub tender.
