Drive in tender, two axles powered, four traction tires. Engine with flywheel. Digital interface according to NEM 651. Two-LED top lighting, changing with the direction of travel. Coupler pocket according to NEM 355.
The locomotives of the class 52 of the former German Reichsbahn are the best known of the so-called war steam locomotives. They were built in 1942 in more than 7,000 units, were planned 15,000 machines. After the war, another 300 pieces were made from existing parts. Even after 1945, the locomotives in many parts of Europe were indispensable in the reconstruction for a long time.
