Beschreibung
Steam locomotive, class 023, of the German Federal Railways (DB), epoch IV.

Model with built-in, load-controlled digital decoder (DCC) factory-fitted.

Prototypically painted and labeled. Used windows. Mobile Heusinger control. Brake pads between the wheels. Die-cast metal chassis. Drive on 2 axes. Traction tires. Three-light top lighting, changing with the direction of travel.

Prototype: The BR 023 was a true universal genius. She carried public transport, express and express trains. Occasionally you could even watch them in the freight train service. Even in epoch IV the Bundesbahn Neubaulokomotive the class 023 (until 1968: BR 23) was still active. On December 31, 1971, 76 aircraft were stationed in the entertainment stock and without exception in three railway depots (Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern and Crailsheim). The modern BR 23 "survived" the Prussian P 8 - it was intended as a replacement - only for a year. She made 1314 kW (1785 hp), weighed 131.8 t and drove forward 110 km / h and Tender ahead 85 km / h. After the official cancellation in December 1975, eight copies of posterity have been preserved in part for associations and museums.
