Now with dark nickel-plated valve gear.
Drive on 10 wheels, two wheels have traction tyres. Double headlights on the front.

Approximately 1250 locomotives of this series transported freight and passenger trains on steep sections and branch lines. The locomotive was also very often used for heavy shunting services and was specialized in pushing wagons on and over humps.

The locomotive manufactured by Fleischmann is the number 8169 Erfurt and represents the delivery condition of 1920. The locomotive 8169 Erfurt was on 02.05.1920 by Schwartzkopff (Berlin) Fab.-Nr. 7108 delivered to the Prussian State Railway. Erst- Bw: Saalfeld, Lokstation Probstzella
1924 the locomotive was redesignated in 94 988. Already in 1927, the locomotive came to the RBD Mainz, where it remained until the retirement. First Bw Bingerbrück, further Bw: Simmern, Koblenz and Lokbf. Engers. Last Bw: Oberlahnstein, where she was retired on 30.09.1960. In Oberlahnstein the BR 94.5 replaced BR 91.3 (pr T9.3). The BR 94 was replaced by the V 60.
