- Acceptance: 20.03.1963 as V 200 112
- First depot: Lübeck
- other depots: Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck and Oberhausen-Osterfeld South
- 01.01.1968: New number 221 112-6
- 28.05.1978: Transfer to the Ruhr area and freight train services
- June 30, 1988: Departure from DB ownership
- 1989: Sold to Prignitzer Eisenbahn as A 421
- 2002: Locomotive taken out of service
